Gardaí have ruled out foul play after a man’s body was found in a house in Ballyshannon, Co Donegal.

Officers attended the scene on Tuesday where they found the body of a man in his 60s at a "residential property" in the town.

Gardai confirmed that foul play has been ruled out following a post mortem.

However, a file will now be sent to the Coroner.

“Gardai attended the discovery of a body of a man (60s) at a residential property in Ballyshannon on Tuesday 26th October, 2021,” they said in a statement.

“Following a post-mortem examination investigating Gardaí have ruled out foul play in the case. A file will now be sent to the Coroner.”
