A body has been found in Galway during the search for missing man Dean McCann.
The 28-year-old went missing from Drumcondra in Dublin last Saturday, 5th February and was last spotted at a Bank of Ireland ATM in Eyre Square in Galway city.

However, gardaí have now called off the search for Mr McCann after recovering a body in Dangan, Co. Galway on Sunday, 13th February.
A garda spokesperson said: “Following the recovery of a body in Dangan, Co.Galway on Sunday, 13th February, 2022, the missing person appeal in respect of Dean McCann, 28 years, has been stood down.
“An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and public for their assistance in this matter. No further action is required and no further information is available at this time.”
