A bizarre poster offering people 25,000 euro for “your little finger” in Phibsboro in Dublin has been doing the rounds on social media.

The poster under the TUD Medicare banner asks passers by if they are under financial pressure under lockdown.

It adds: “Our client lost a finger in workplace accident.

“We require a little finger, left hand, blood type A+.

“Professional and painless procedure.

“Free up some cash,” it adds, “give your loved ones a brighter future while bringing joy to another family.”

The poster appears to be a joke by TUB Creations which adds on their Instagram page, “Not everyone is in the same boat during this pandemic! Reach out, touch base with old friends, they’ll be glad to hear your voice!”

Other posts on the Instagram page show similar mock posters with one declaring: “Report house parties. Save lives and another one that offers, “Back to school hazmat suits for kids going back to school!”
