US officials who are searching for missing Dublin man Cian McLaughlin have issued an updated flier providing more information on the items he had in his possession when he set off for his hike last month.

The search for Cian McLaughlin, who was last seen in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming on June 8, is continuing but on a scaled back basis.

Concerns were raised when he didn't arrive at work two days later, and he was subsequently reported missing to Teton County Sheriff's Office.

Officials said in an update overnight that no new information has been reported about the missing 27-year-old but more details have been revealed about what he had with him when he disappeared.

These include a red Apple watch, a red iPhone 12 Mini, a white short sleeve t-shirt, and wire-rimmed sunglasses, while he is also believed to have been wearing a hat, shorts and hiking boots.

A statement from the national park said: "No new information has been reported about missing 27-year-old hiker Cian McLaughlin.

"The park continues to request any information the public may have that may aid in locating McLaughlin.

"He was last seen in the late afternoon/early evening on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, on the south side of the Bradley/Taggart Moraine, headed south towards Taggart Lake.

"Anyone with information regarding McLaughlin’s whereabouts is urged to contact the National Park Service Investigative Services Branch".

Last month, authorities reached out to residents of Wyoming after a new sighting of Cian was reported.

A Wyoming resident had come forward after returning from an overseas trip to say they saw Mr McLaughlin in the late or early afternoon of June 8 which is later than the previous last known sightings on the same day.

The individual contacted authorities to reveal he had a conversation with Mr McLaughlin on the south side of the Bradley/Taggart moraine in Grand Teton National Park.

Grand Teton National Park officials said: "The individual reported McLaughlin was headed south towards Taggart Lake and had a conversation with McLaughlin where he described where he worked, that he’s from Ireland, and currently living in Jackson.

"The reporting party continued hiking towards Bradley Lake and did not see McLaughlin again that evening."

Officials say "no evidence or clues" about the Irishman's whereabouts were found during the latest search but they are now asking members of the public in Wyoming to come forward with any information about Cian's disappearance.

Mr McLaughlin had been living and working in Jackson, Wyoming, near the Grand Teton National Park.

The search was initiated after the Dublin native failed to turn up for work in Jackson Hole, where he had been working as a snowboard instructor.

He is described as a solo hiker with shoulder-length hair and wearing round glasses. He was wearing a white shirt, shorts and a hat.
