Pop superstar Horan won’t be in Dublin himself, but he will perform a specially created unplugged and intimate set (complete with some surprises)live from his new local, The Toucan in London’s Soho Square.

It is all part of a new international campaign from Guinness which will help to celebrate the local pub on a global scale by inviting people to enjoy the unique magic of the pub experience safely at home this St. Patrick’s Day.

From Dublin to Derry, the Himalayas to Surfer’s Paradise and everywhere in between – pubs will turn green collectively to celebrate a St.Patrick’s Day unlike any other. What’s more, the iconic Home of Guinness, the Guinness Storehouse, the Guinness Open Gate Brewery in Baltimore, USA as well as Guinness HQ in countries like Kenya and Uganda will also turn green for the occasion.

Guinness beer ambassadors will be on hand to help you pour the perfectly crafted glass of Guinness to raise in a toast to your local pub, from the comfort of your couch.

Renowned Irish chef, DJ and pub-owner Marcus O’Laoire will show you how to craft the ultimate Guinness cheese toastie from your own kitchen, perfect for pairing with our iconic ruby red stout.

Guinness knows that pubs in Ireland, and around the world, play a pivotal role in bringing people together and creating moments of joy and connection. While many may be closed or empty this St. Patrick’s Day, Guinness is encouraging people around the world to show the love for their local by sharing images of their favourite pub on social media with #BestOfThePub
