Quick Bites: MEX factor
Condiment giants Heinz have just launched a brand new sauce — and taco ‘bout tasty.
Inspired by the tongue-tickling flavours of Mexico, Heinz Taco Sauce is here to make everyday Cinco de Mayo this barbecue season.
Mexican food is now the most ordered on Deliveroo in Dublin, according to recent data. And now you can create your very own taco-way at home thanks to the garlicky, spicy sauce.
.
Also packing a peppery punch, the salsa para tacos — as taco sauce is better known in Mexico — is now available from SuperValu and Tesco stores nationwide, priced €1.99.
Dollop it on homemade taco fries made with sweet potatoes and fiery mince beef served with guacamole and warm cheddar cheese sauce (pictured). Or just add a little Mex appeal to a humble chicken fillet roll — sombrero optional.
