Quick Bites: Mash is king
We’re already big fans of Irish brand Mash Direct here at Magazine+ HQ. So the Co Down potato farm didn’t have to give us the hard sell on their new Peri Peri Fries.
Answering the unstoppable demand for spicy food, now the farm-to-fork company’s famous skinny fries also come smothered in delicious spices and fried for the perfect texture.
Both gluten-free and vegan friendly, the fries fuse Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and South African flavours for a taste sensation that beats any spice bag. All you have to do is bung them in the oven for 15-20 minutes to joosh up any meal — or just enjoy on their own with our favourite dip when hunger strikes.
With two servings, the 250g pack is available from selected retailers nationwide now, priced €2.50. Check out the full vegetable accompaniments range, including Beer Battered Onion Rings and Cheese & Onion Croquettes at mashdirect.com.
