Quick Bites: Boxing clever
iF you’re still nervous about dining out, then we’ve got just the thing for Dublin city dwellers.
Popular city centre restaurant Winedown has launched a delicious Home Dinner Box so you can enjoy your favourite dishes from the comfort of your own kitchen this January.
The carefully curated six-course tasting menus for two boast the same great breads, impeccable cheese, croquettes and modern tapas the Monatgue Street diner is famed for.
Priced at €55 (or €75 with a wine-pairing), choose from The Classic Box, crammed with tasty dishes including smoked fungi croquettes and Asian marinated bavette steak skewers, or The Vegetarian Box, with Jerusalem artichoke three ways and chocolate marquis among the six mouth-watering courses.
The Home Dinner Box is available for collection or delivery in Dublin city centre from Thursday-Saturday in January. See meltdown.ie/winedown or follow @winedowndublin on Instagram for more.
