Graham Norton’s Own Prosecco Frizzante
Today we celebrate Mother’s Day with a wine that will taste great with cake and for those watching their calorie intake, a low alcohol, low calorie wine, that is the perfect match for salad.
Graham Norton’s Own Prosecco Frizzante €12
Since it was first launched four years ago, this has become a firm favourite. Graham Norton’s Own Prosecco is made to his own specifcation from 100pc Glera grapes grown in the Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia regions in Northern Italy.
It’s light and fresh with aromas of white flowers and a hint of citrus. The Frizzante means it is lightly sparkling with lots of pear fruit flavours and lower alcohol of 11pc ABV. Why not serve this with lemon cheesecake?.
Featherweight Light Wine Pinot Grigio €4.49
Aldi have this brand new lower alcohol Pinot Grigio for under €5.00. With an ABV of 5.5pc, a small glass of Aldi’s Featherweight Pinot Grigio has less than 60 calories in it.
The wine has fresh, crisp citrus notes with white peach aromas and flavours of pears. This versatile white will be a good match for crab meat or prawns served with green salad. Ideal to serve while enjoying those longer evenings in the garden.
