2020 Mirabeau Rosé Belle Année

Even though it’s Autumn and we tend to drink more robust red wines, we also still LOVE Rosé and white wine. So here are two to enjoy this bank holiday weekend.

2020 Mirabeau Rosé Belle Année RRP €15.00

This is brand new to out shelves and is soon to be in great demand. Belle Année from Maison Mirabeau is a Vin de France With aromas of grapefruit, orange peel, strawberry and roses. When tasted it is fresh, with flavours of lemon and apricot. This ultimate easy drinking experience is available in independent off licences. With Rosé in demand on a year-round basis now, this is bound to be popular. A great wine to start off an evening with friends, serve it with cheesy canapés.

2020 Wynns Coonawarra Estate Chardonnay €18.95

Wynns is one of the oldest wineries in South Australia, it was founded in 1860 and is known for its premium wines. Coonawarra with its 10 km of terra rossa soil is one of Australia’s best regions for quality wine. Australian Chardonnay is making a comeback, this one is a fine example of the style. It is a medium bodied, lightly oaked wine. It has that lovely soft buttery flavour with lots of ripe tropical fruit. Quite restrained, definitely an elegant leaner style of Chardonnay; perfect with strongly flavoured food such as chicken in a creamy korma sauce.
