This week I am going back to some old favourites and trialling the latest beauty drops to get my glow back. In preparation for my trip to Coachella festival in the Californian desert, I’ve been pumping hydration into my skin. I’ll hopefully be singing along (badly) to Billie Eilish as you read this.

MySkincare Pro Facial Steamer, €129 NEED to let off some steam? This self-care gadget, available from myskincare.ie, is just the trick to soothe stressed skin. Designed to boost collagen production, the at-home steamer relaxes pores, allowing your skincare products to better penetrate the skin. I’ve been using it twice weekly for 10 minutes and my skin is having a serious glow-up. I’m just short of marrying it.

.

MACStack Mascara, €29.45 THE internet can be a black hole when it comes to mascara, which is why you have to keep your eyes wide open if you want to find the very best lash painter. I’ve tried many a mascara wand and found them to be too cakey, too flakey, or to have no staying power. Boasting a ‘superstack mega brush’, MAC’s latest creation piles on layers of volume, and doesn’t skimp on length either, but still feels feather-light. There was no clumping or flaking and I didn’t have panda eyes by the end of the day — truly a game-changer when you watch repeats of Long Lost Family on your lunch break.

.

L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil, €36 I’M no longer prepared to pretend I am low-maintenance, because I will never shower without this golden elixir ever again, so don’t ask me to. Gliding on like an oil but blooming into a thick, luxurious foam on contact with water, this shower sensation leaves a satin-soft sheen all over your body. Your bathroom will also steam up with the heady, sumptuous scent of Provence. It is transportive and smells so good it is a little intoxicating.

.

Garnier SkinActive Hydra Bomb Sheet Mask, €2.79 BRINGING you a bargain basement pick-me-up to supercharge your skin. Made for dull skin, each mask is packed with plant extracts and hyaluronic acid to plump and reduce fine lines. Vegan and biodegradable, it’s a no-brainer.

.

Note Baked Powder, €9 THERE are setting powders and then there’s this glow-boosting baked powder. If you want to set your makeup with a hint of luminosity, then this is it. Available in four shades: clear, stardust, honeywarm or caramel cake, the ultra-smooth formula is infused with moisturising macadamia oil. It also doubles as a highlighter — apply it to the tops of cheekbones and your Cupid’s bow to really shine.

Yves Saint Laurent Nu Bare Look Tint, €32 I AM all about that makeup- meets-moisturiser hybrid, which is why I want to share this skin-loving foundation with you so you can be first in line to snap it up when it launches this Wednesday. Available in 20 shades, the buildable tint is infused with that all-important hyaluronic acid to melt into the skin for a beautifully dewy no make-up look.

.

Blumáin Geranium & Orange Cleansing Oil, €25 I LOVE an Irish success story and Blumáin is certainly that. The award-winning, organic and plant-based skincare range is produced by Cork-based beauty therapist Sinéad Murphy. I’ve fallen for this delicate cleanser that gently, but effectively, removes grease and grime from the
