Ask Dr Angela: Our sex toy games went horribly wrong
Girl with stomach ache sitting on bed
Open-minded and practical, Dr Angela Brokmann has answered the nation's sex problems for 18 years. Here, she answers your dilemmas.
Dear Angela,
My boyfriend (28) has a huge collection of sex toys. One of my favourites is what he calls ecstasy balls, two balls that are connected to each other by a string. I (26) love to feel the toy inside me, but unless you leave one of the balls outside its really tricky to get them out again.
The other night my boyfriend pushed both balls in, and it took me a couple of days before I finally got them out, and by then I was seriously sore.
How do other girls manage? Is there some trick I don't know about?

ANSWER
Proper ecstasy balls come with a pull-out string that you can still reach even if it slips inside you. If your toy has no pull-out string, then don't use it anymore.
If you ever get stuck with a sex toy inside you again, don't wait so long but seek medical help straight away, otherwise you risk an infection or even internal injury.
Telling your doctor what happened might be on the embarrassing side, but your health comes first and your doctor will deal with the problem in a professional way.
