Dear Angela,

I (41) used to love the atmosphere at my workplace. We messed around and flirted a lot, and I even had a couple of harmless flings. Now most of my colleagues work from home, and all the fun is gone. To brighten up my days a bit I started to flirt and chat online, mainly during my breaks.

Nobody can see what I'm doing - I have my own desk with partitions all around. But the other day my supervisor came over to my desk unexpectedly and I didn't notice her until it was too late.

She saw a sex pic on my screen, and she was so disgusted that she threatened to tell our manager. She gave me a long lecture on how I'm not allowed to use my work computer for sex chats. She might be right about that, but my sex chats help me to get through the day. It's the only bit of fun I'm getting at work these days.

It's understandable that you want to brighten up your days a bit. But sex chats on your work computer and on your company's network are not the solution.

If you need some erotic amusement to make your work days more bearable, use your private phone, tablet or laptop, and your own private internet.

Chat during your breaks only, and make sure nobody can see what you're up to.
