Open-minded and practical, Dr Angela Brokmann has answered the nation's sex problems for 18 years. Here, she answers your dilemmas.

Dear Angela,

My fiancé (34) loves the 69 position where we give each other oral sex at the same time.

That’s OK, I (27) like it as well. But my fiancé is determined to try it standing up, and I find that a bit scary.

I mean, what if he can’t hold me? I could break my neck.

Would it be worth the risk?

ANSWER: Sixty-nine standing up can be fun, but it’s so dangerous that it’s best to stay away from it. If you want to take the risk anyway, make sure that your partner is strong enough to hold your weight.

Also keep in mind that in the heat of the moment he might get too distracted to hold on to you properly.

And if he lets you slip, you could end up with serious injuries. I don’t want to spoil the fun, but I’d say this one isn’t worth the risk.
