“The Coroner was notified.”
It has been reported that the man was found in a hostel.
Emergency services pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Cllr Anthony Flynn of the Inner City Helping Homeless charity said their thoughts and prayers were with the man’s family at this tragic time.
“This was a man in his mid-20s, we understand,” he said.
“There were 79 homeless deaths last year and while the number of those who have died in private emergency accommodation has not yet been established so far this year, we are seeing an increase,” he said.
