Drugs seized Man and woman charged following €80k cannabis bust in Co Mayo
A man and woman who were arrested during a drug bust in Co Mayo last night have now been charged and are due to appear before Ballina District Court on March 9.Â
Gardaà who were carrying out a search of a residence in Ballina shortly after 8pm found €80,000 worth of cannabis.
They also seized €3,500 in cash.
The man, who is in his 50s and the woman in her 20s were arrested at the scene and detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at Ballina Garda station.
