Sligo steal Gardaí hunt three-man gang who stole jewellery, cash and mobile phone in Sligo

Gardai are hunting three men who broke into a house in Co Sligo last night and made off with a number of items, including jewellery, a handbag with cash and a mobile phone.

The three masked men entered the property in the Tourlestrane area, between 7.20pm and 7.45pm.

A number of Garda checkpoints and patrols were set up in surrounding areas after the alarm was raised “but at this time the suspects have not been located,” gardai said.

“We are appealing to anyone who was in the Eskragh or Tourlestrange area of Sligo between 7.15pm and 8pm on Friday to contact us.

“In particular, any road users who may have dash cam or video footage (are asked to come forward).

“No arrests have made and investigations are ongoing.”
