
Garda probe Five arrested following public order incidents outside Mayo fast food outlet
Four of the men, who are aged in their 20s and teens, and one juvenile male teen are being held
Five men have been arrested by gardai investigating a number of public order and assault incidents outside a fast food outlet in Claremorris, Co Mayo, last month.
Four of the men, who are aged in their 20s and teens, and one juvenile male teen are being held in number of Garda stations in the Mayo region.
They were arrested following searches that had been carried out by Claremorris Community Engagement gardaí, supported by Detectives from Mayo Crime and Western Region Armed Support Unit, of a number of addresses in Claremorris and Ballinrobe this morning.
Claremorris gardaí have reissued an appeal for any witnesses to the incident in the Dalton Street area between 2.40am and 3am on Sunday, February 6, to come forward.

"Gardaí are aware that many people would have been in this area at this time following the closure of local nightclubs,” gardai said in a previous statement.
