Irish Rail has said all trains have been suspended between Skerries and Malahide as emergency services attend to an incident near Donabate.

It has been reported that a body has been found near the line.

In a tweet, Irish Rail said normal DART services are operating between Malahide and Bray, while Northern services are operating between Drogheda and Skerries only.

“Belfast services are operating as a bus transfer between Connolly and Drogheda and train between Drogheda and Belfast,” they tweeted.

“Line remains closed between Skerries and Malahide as emergency services attend incident.”

In an earlier tweet they had stated that “Belfast and Northern services are subject to disruption due to an incident between Malahide and Donabate. Emergency services are in attendance.”
