A Viagra pill-popping pensioner stabbed his wife to death when she refused to have sex with him and then went to sleep before taking his dog for two walks the next day.
Vito Cangini (80) admitted to police that he stabbed his wife of 17 years, Natalia Kyrychok (61) early on Christmas morning in their Fanano di Gradara home in eastern Italy.
He claimed that she had agreed to have sex with him so he took the blue pill, but then they got into a fight after she changed her mind.
Mr Cangini, who was almost 20 years older than his wife, then accused her of being attracted to her boss and stabbed her with a kitchen knife in a jealous rage.
He reportedly left her body on the floor and went to sleep and then, the following morning, made himself some breakfast before going for a walk his dog, twice.
That afternoon, however, Cangini called the restaurant where his wife worked as a chef and told the owner he would never see Kyrychok again, adding, “I know there was something going on between you two.”

The restaurant owner called the cops, who discovered Kyrychok’s body along with the murder weapon.
She had been stabbed at least four times, including once to the heart.
Mr Cangini was taken into custody and the suspected murder weapon was found at the crime scene.
The investigation is ongoing, however, according to local reports, Cangini faces charges of voluntary homicide.
