A man has been arrested by Pakistan police for scaring people on New Year's Eve while dressed as a werewolf.
The man was allegedly making roaring noises at people while riding his motorcycle, according to police.
He is believed to be from Peshawar city’s Moti neighbourhood, and has been charged with criminal offences.
In a photograph shared on Twitter by a journalist identified, the suspect could be seen posing for a picture in handcuffs with two police officers.
The image sparked a huge reaction on Twitter - with users commenting about how the outfit was more suitable for Halloween.
One commenter said: “Maybe he didn’t want to take risk in such epidemic. That mask is a foolproof weapon for fighting against Covid-19."
Another wrote: “People get scared of the dude and don’t come out on new year during Covid times, everyone stays safe. Isn’t this a good thing?”
