In custody Three arrested as part of probe into botched hit on Noel Boylan
GARDAÍ have arrested three people in connection with the attempted murder of convicted armed robber Noel Boylan.
Two men and a woman were arrested yesterday and are currently being detained in a number of garda stations across Dublin.
A garda spokesman confirmed that they made the arrests in relation to the shooting which occurred on Blakestown Road, Blanchardstown on 1 June 2019.
Gangland criminal Boylan narrowly escaped with his life when the shooter’s firearm jammed.
He was shot twice in the arm and chest in front of onlookers and shoppers.
Boylan fled to a nearby Lidl where he was eventually found and taken to hospital.

He checked himself out of Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown just four days later.
A garda spokesperson confirmed the arrests saying: “One female (aged in her 30s) and one male (aged in his 20s) are currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939; one male (aged in his 30s) is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
"All persons are detained in a number of Garda Stations across Dublin. Investigations are ongoing.”
