Kildare gardaí rescue adorable dog from being chased by fox

Gardaí in Kildare rescued a dog from being chased by a fox on Wednesday night.
The frightened pug was brought to safety by officers in Naas after being chased around The Curragh, a 5,000 acre stretch of grassland in Kildare, by a wild fox.

The dog was wearing a grey harness with orange lining when it was found.
Gardaí are now appealing to the public for help finding the pup’s owner and took to social media to get the message out.

Sharing a photo of the sweet dog in front of a garda van, a garda spokesperson said: “Naas Gardaí found this dog being chased by a fox last night in The Curragh.
“If you have any information that can assist in reuniting it with its owner, please contact Naas Garda Station at (045) 884 300.”
