An Irishman is to appear in court in Andorra after he was accused of trying to run down two traffic officers in La Massana.
The 36-year-old driver was stopped by police hours after the incident involving a “high-end” BMW.
Police are taking action against the driver only, and not a family member who was a passenger in the British-registered car that accelerated and “tried to run over the agents”.
The driver is accused of two crimes, “against the collective security" and "against the public function”.
