Woman beaten with hammers by five men wearing balaclavas in Co Antrim
The PSNI have asked for anyone with information to come forward

A woman has been assaulted by five men with hammers in Carrickfergus, County Antrim.
The PSNI said the five men forced their way into the woman’s home at around 10pm yesterday before attacking her.
The men were described as wearing balaclavas and wearing dark clothing.
The woman needed medical attention after the attack.

Two other women were also in the house at the time, and while uninjured, were described as shaken by the ordeal.
The woman in her 40s was assaulted in the bedroom area of her house.
The PSNI have asked anyone in the area, or anyone who has dashcam footage to contact them.
