In custody Woman (37) arrested after €72,000 of cannabis seized in Kilmore, Dublin

A woman has been arrested after a whopping €72,000 worth of suspected cannabis was seized by gardaí in Dublin 5 on Wednesday.

A property was searched in Kilmore, Co. Dublin yesterday as part of ongoing investigations targeting organised crime groups in the area.

The joint intelligence led operation was conducted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, the Dublin Metropolitan Region North Divisional Drugs Unit, and the Revenue Customs Service.

During the search, an estimated €72,000 worth of suspected cannabis herb was seized by Customs officers.

Gardai also arrested a 37-year-old female at the scene, and she was detained at Ballymun Garda Station under Section 2 of The Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
