On spotting the officers, the males attempted to escape in their vehicle, driving at speed past pedestrians and through red lights at a busy junction.

The suspects eventually abandoned their vehicle and made off on foot closely followed by the officers.

Three of the suspects were detained and arrested on suspicion of a number of burglary offences.

At Isleworth Crown Court on 20th November 2018, the defendants pleaded guilty to a number of offences of burglary, attempted burglary and aggravated vehicle taking.
