Two men who were attacked in Cork City last night were rushed to hospital for treatment for their injuries
Gardai say they are investigating the incident that occurred shortly before midnight.
“Gardaí are investigating an incident of assault that occurred at Popes Quay, Cork City at 11.50pm on December 29,” they said.

“Two men in their 30s were injured and taken to Cork University Hospital.
“No arrests have been made,” gardai added, “and investigations are ongoing.”
