Two men have been arrested in connection with the seizure
Gardaí have seized €374,000 in cash in Swords as part of an intelligence led operation.
On Friday, February 4th, officers from the Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), and Special Crime Task Force, intercepted two vehicles in the Holywell area of Swords, Co. Dublin.
Officers recovered a substantial amount of cash and arrested two males aged 38 and 27 on suspicion of facilitating/enhancing the ability of an organised crime group to commit a serious offence.
Both men were taken to Coolock Garda station where they remain in detention.
Follow up searches conducted in Swords and Clondalkin led officers to more cash, leading to a total in excess of €374,000 cash being seized.
Investigations are ongoing.
