Gardaí have charged two men who were arrested after four firearms and drugs were seized in Dublin on Saturday.
The men, aged in their late 20s, were arrested yesterday morning after gardaí searched three residential properties in Tallaght, Dublin 24 and discovered the weapons, as well as ammunition and silencers.
Gardaí also uncovered approximately €70,000 worth of suspected heroin as well as small quantities of crack cocaine and cannabis.
One of the men is due to appear before Tallaght District Court tomorrow morning, Monday 31st January, at 10.30am.
The second man has been released on bail and is due to appear before the court at a later date.
