Juris Viktorovs died after allegedly being stabbed in the chest
The two people arrested in connection with the fatal assault of Juris Viktorovs on Thursday February 10th have been released without charge.
Files are being prepared to send to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
The Lithuanian national was found stabbed to death at a house in Ballyconnell, Shillelagh, County Wicklow when Gardaí attended the scene.
There were five people in the home at the time of the incident, and a man in his 30s and a woman in her 20s were arrested at the scene.
Emergency services attended the scene but he was pronounced dead in the house and his body remained there overnight pending a preliminary examination.
It is understood that the victim had been staying at the house for only a few short months.
He had previously lived in Tullow, Co Carlow, around 10km away.
Speaking at the scene on Thursday, Chief Superintendent Anthony Pettit said a post mortem was due to be carried out on the victim at Naas Hospital by Assistant State Pathologist Dr Margot Bolster.
Gardaí in Baltinglass are continuing to appeal to any person who may have information in relation to this incident to contact them.
