Information appeal Teen rushed to hospital after being stabbed in Dundalk, Co Louth

His injures have been described as non life- threatening

Gardaí are investigating an assault in Dundalk, Co Louth shortly after a teenager was injured in a stabbing incident. 

The boy, aged in his late teens, was rushed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda following the attack that took place in a residential area shortly after midnight.

His injures have been described as non life-threatening.

Gardai have asked anyone with information to come forward.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Dundalk Garda Station (042) 938 8400 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111,” gardai said, adding, “investigations are ongoing.
