Man rushed to hospital after suffering gunshot wounds in Tallaght

A man has been rushed to hospital after suffering gunshot injuries in Tallaght shortly after 12 pm today.
The incident occurred near Fortunestown Lane area just after midday.
Gardai said they are currently at the scene which is now sealed off.
Dublin Fire Brigade responded to reports of a car being set alight and they subsequently discovered a gun at the scene.
It is understood the victim was shot in the neck.
No arrests have been made so far.
