Gardaí have said investigations are continuing into an aggravated burglary in South Dublin in the early hours of yesterday morning that resulted in one man being rushed to hospital. 

The victim was reportedly stabbed during the incident at a premises in Fisherman’s Wharf, Ringsend, at approximately 12.10am on Tuesday.

Gardai said no arrests have been so far.

"Gardai and emergency services attended the scene of an aggravated burglary that occurred at a premises in Fisherman’s Wharf, Ringsend, Co Dublin at approximately 12:10am on Tuesday,” they said.

“One man sustained injuries in the course of this incident.

“He was conveyed to St Vincent’s Hospital for treatment. It is believed that no property was taken from the premises at this time.”

Gardai added: “No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing at this time.”
