Horrific assault Man hospitalised with head wounds after attack in Ballyfermot, Dublin

A man was rushed to hospital with head wounds yesterday after a horrifying attack in Ballyfermot.

Gardaí attended the scene and arrested another man in his 30s following the assault.

He was yesterday being held at Clondalkin Garda Station where he was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act (1984).

A spokesperson for An Garda Siochana told sundayworld.com: "A male had received a number of wounds to his head during the incident.

"He was taken to St James’s Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries."
