Arrest Man due in court after gardai seize €17,000 of cannabis in Ballymun drug bust

A man is due in court after gardai seized cannabis in a drugs raid in north Dublin on Monday.

The man in his 20s was arrested by gardaí yesterday after carrying out a search of a property in Ballymun shortly after 8.30pm.

The search resulted in the seizure of €17,000 worth of suspected cannabis and the arrest.

The man has since been charged and is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice later this month.

"Gardaí have arrested a man in his 20s and seized €17,000 worth of suspected cannabis following a search of a property in Ballymun, shortly before 8:30pm yesterday evening, Monday, September 13, 2021," gardai said.

"The man has since been charged and is due to appear before the CCJ on the September 30, 2021."
