A man has been arrested and a whopping €230,000 of suspected cocaine and cannabis has been seized during a raid on an address in Clondalkin, Dublin on Good Friday.
In the course of ongoing investigations targeting persons suspected to be involved in organised crime, personnel attached to the Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) supported by the Garda Dog Unit and the Stolen Motor Vehicle Unit conducted a search at an address in the Clondalkin area of Dublin.
In the course of the search, three kilogrammes of suspected cocaine and one kilogramme of Cannabis Herb with an estimated street value of €230,000 was seized.
As part of this organised crime related operation, one male suspect, aged 36 years, was arrested today on suspicion of involvement drug trafficking and is currently detained, pursuant to the provisions of section 2 of Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996, at Ronanstown Garda Station.
