'Horrific' Man allegedly stabbed in pint glass attack inside takeaway in Dundalk, Co Louth

Two women have been arrested after a man was allegedly stabbed inside a takeaway on Sunday morning.

The “horrific and violent” incident took place at a popular Chinese takeaway on Park Street, Dundalk, Co Louth at approximately 2am this morning, Sunday 3rd April.

Two women allegedly entered the premises and attacked a man with a pint glass.

The man was brought to Our Lady of Lourdes Drogheda to be treated for his injuries.

Two women, both aged in their 20s, have been arrested in relation to this incident and are currently detained at Drogheda Garda station.

Investigations are ongoing.
