A man was arrested earlier this morning as part of an ongoing investigation into organised crime in the Sligo and Leitrim area.
The suspect is currently being detained at Sligo Garda Station under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007.
This morning's arrest is fourth in connection with the ongoing investigation.
In January, a man in his 30s was held by gardai at Dublin Airport. He was later charged and has appeared before the courts.

A second male was also arrested on 18 January, 2022 - while a woman was arrested on 20 February as part of the probe.
Both were later released without charge and files are being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
