The funeral details for Keith ‘Bono’ Green who was gunned down in a farmland incident in Tallaght have been announced.

The 36-year-old who was fatally shot on February 22, died two days later after his life support machine was switched off.

His funeral will take place on Monday, March 7 at Saint Thomas' Church the Apostle at 11am.

He will be laid to rest afterwards at Bohernabreena Cemetery.

His death notice reads: “The death has occurred of the late Keith (Bono) Greene (24th February 2022) suddenly surrounded by his loving family.”

“Sadly missed by his loving partner Jeannette, son Jamie, daughters Everleigh and Chloe, loving mother and father Lorraine and John, sisters Elaine, Michelle, Caitlin and Louise, brothers Karl and Jake, granddaughter Amelia-Rose, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, extended family and a large circle of friends.”

Diarmuid Phelan (53) a senior barrister, was arrested at the scene in connection with the fatal incident.

He appeared before a sitting of Tallaght District Court on Friday February 25th charged with the murder of Keith Greene, also known as Keith Conlon at Hazel Grove Farm, Kiltalown Lane.

At least five people were present when the shooting happened and gardaí have taken statements from a number of witnesses.

The legally held gun used in the shooting was also recovered by gardaí.
