NENAGH MAN Joseph Cummins has been remanded in the custody of Limerick Prison for a week on a charge of trespassing at a property in the town.

The 33-year-old, of no fixed abode was brought before Nenagh District Court this morning to face a charge of trespass at a property on St. Flanan St in the town on January 5th.

He is accused of trespass in circumstances giving rise to the reasonable inference that such entry or presence was with intent to commit an offence or with intent to unlawfully interfere with any property.

A person who is guilty of an offence under this section shall be liable on conviction in the District Court to a fine not exceeding €1,270 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.

Cummins was remanded in the custody of Limerick Prison to appear again at Nenagh District Court on January 15th.

No details relating to Cummins background can now be reported as the matter is now before the courts.
