Garda probe Investigation underway after man (30s) is hospitalised following Dundalk stabbing

Gardai say an investigation is underway after a man in his 30s was injured in a stabbing in Dundalk. 

The victim suffered a number of injuries in the attack in the Slieve Foy Park area of Muirhevnamor around 7pm yesterday.

He was rushed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where his injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

“Gardaí in Dundalk were alerted to an assault that occurred Monday 6th September, 2021 at approximately 7p.m. at Sliabh Foy Park, Dundalk,” gardai said.

“One man (30 years) received a number of injuries and was removed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. His injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

“Investigations are ongoing.”
