House in north Belfast 'extensively damaged' as rampaging gang with hammers run amok

Pacemaker Press Police are appealing for witnesses and information after criminal damage was caused to a property in the Woodvale Avenue area of north Belfast last night, Wednesday August 12th.
The PSNI have appealed for information after a house was damaged by a gang of nine men armed with hammers in the Woodvale area of north Belfast.
The attack happened at a property on Woodvale Avenue at around 9.55pm last night.
The police said the men caused significant damage to the house with a number of windows smashed.

It’s understood a vehicle was also extensively damaged in the incident.

No-one was present in the house at the time of the attack.

Inspector Swann: “Our enquiries are continuing and we are appealing for anyone who might have information which may assist the investigation to contact police on 101 quoting number 1969 11/08/21.
