Gardaí are investigating after a man was attacked in Carlow in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The assault is reported to have taken place at approximately 1am on Sunday, 15th May in the Potato Market area of Carlow town.

The man, who is aged in his 30s, was taken to University Hospital Waterford for treatment.
No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
