Gardai in Dublin investigating a home break-in have appealed for help to trace two stolen medals.

The medals, which were presented to a founder member of the Football Association of Ireland (FAI), were taken during a burglary at a house on the Howth Road in Raheny on December 30.

The homeowners were not in their house at the time.

A number of other items were also taken in the break-in.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may come across these medals or who can assist Gardaí in locating any of the items of the burglary are asked to contact Raheny Garda station on 01 - 666 4300, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
