
Alleged attack Gardai investigating after woman reports sex assault
Gardaà have confirmed that they are investigating the alleged sexual assault of a woman in Longford on Thursday.Â
It was reported that the incident took place in the Farnagh area on the outskirts of the town and was reported to Gardaà early that morning.
It is understood that the victim, in her late 30s, made a complaint to Gardaà soon after the alleged incident is believed to have occurred.
No arrests have yet been made.
However, Gardaà say their inquiries are ongoing.
