Garda probe Gardai investigate following two Mayo burglaries on one night

Gardai say no arrests have been made in either case and that investigations are ongoing

Gardaí have said investigations are ongoing into two burglaries that took place in Mayo over the weekend. 

In one of the incidents it was reported that the suspects fled the scene when a person arrived at a house in Cloghans Hill, at approximately 10.30pm on Saturday night.

Gardai said no arrests have been made, and that investigations are ongoing.

Earlier that same evening, it was reported locally that a quantity of cash was taken and damage was done to the phone line and an alarm box at a property in Partry, Claremorris, at approximately 8.30pm.

Gardaí are investigating this burglary and added that no arrests have been made, although investigations are also ongoing.
