No arrests Gardaí investigate assault on teenage boy in Co Limerick on Sunday

Gardaí are investigating an assault that hospitalised a teenager in Co. Limerick on Sunday.

The incident took place at approximately 6.30pm on August 22nd when a 19-year-old boy was assaulted in Arthurs Quay Park in Limerick.

The victim was taken to Limerick University Hospital for his injuries, which were not life-threatening.

No arrests have been made in relation to this incident and investigations remain ongoing.

A garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí are investigating an assault which occurred in Arthurs Quay, Co Limerick on the 22nd August 2021 at approximately 6:30pm.

“A male, aged in his late teens, was taken to Limerick University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

“No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing.”
