Gardaí have launched a probe into an incident involving a man who exposed himself in a Galway park in broad daylight last week.
The incident took place at Renville Park, Oranmore in Co. Galway at approximately 12.45pm on Thursday, January 27th.
Gardaí are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone with any information to contact Oranmore Garda Station on 091 388030 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
A garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí in Oranmore are investigating an incident of a male exposing himself at Renville Park, Oranmore, Co Galway on Thursday the 27th of January 2022.
“The incident took place at approximately 12.45 pm.
“Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone with any information to please contact Oranmore Garda Station on 091 388030 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.”
It comes after a teenager girl was attacked by a man while out jogging in a totally separate incident in Co. Kilkenny yesterday.

It comes after a teenager girl was attacked by a man while out jogging in a totally separate incident in Co. Kilkenny yesterday.
The 17-year-old had been running near Johnstown, Co. Kilkenny shortly after 12pm when a man assaulted her with a sharp implement, believed to be scissors.
The local girl was injured in what is described as a “brief struggle” with her assailant.
She required treatment in St Luke’s Hospital after the assault but is now recovering at her home.
It is understood that the incident may have been an attempted abduction.
