House damaged Gardaí investigate after explosive device reportedly thrown at north Dublin house

Gardaí are investigating after a house was reportedly damaged by an explosive device in north Dublin.

The incident took place in the Deanstown Green area of Finglas shortly before 8pm on Monday.

Gardaí are treating the incident as an act of “criminal damage.”

No injuries have been reported at this time and no further information is currently available.

Investigations are ongoing.

Gardaí are now appealing to anyone with any information to contact them. They are particularly keen for anyone who may have witnessed or have camera footage of this incident to make contact with Gardaí.
